SELFROUTE / LEGAL
Terms of Use
The terms for planning routes, connecting your vehicle and using SelfRoute integrations.
Effective October 18, 2026
Provider and scope
SelfRoute is operated by Lion Adv, Inc., 25 SE 2nd Ave Ste 550, Miami, FL 33131, United States. These terms cover our website, route-planning service and API. By using these services, you agree to these terms. If using them for a business, you must have authority to do so.
For apps distributed through Apple, the Apple Standard End User License Agreement governs the app license. These service terms supplement that agreement; they do not replace it with a custom EULA. Apple's purchase and platform terms also apply. Nothing here excludes rights that applicable consumer law does not allow us to exclude.
What SelfRoute does
SelfRoute lets you organize destinations and request that one destination at a time be sent to an authorized Tesla vehicle from iPhone or Apple Watch. The vehicle handles navigation. SelfRoute does not control driving, steering, braking, acceleration, Autopilot or Full Self-Driving.
Manual routes support up to 500 stops. Driving-time optimization currently supports routes of 3–20 stops and proposes an order for you to review. It is not a guarantee of the fastest journey and does not replace the vehicle's charging or navigation planning. Full-route multi-waypoint delivery is not a promised feature of this version.
The current release is a TestFlight beta. Availability, compatibility and functionality can change during testing. A beta invitation is not a promise of general App Store availability or perpetual free access.
Account and vehicle authorization
Connect only accounts and vehicles you own or are authorized to use. Authorize Tesla access through Tesla's sign-in flow; do not send us Tesla passwords. You are responsible for protecting access to your device, Apple account and integration keys and for reviewing the permissions you grant.
Vehicle commands require a supported vehicle, valid authorization, an available connection and any setup required by Tesla. A subscription does not guarantee compatibility with every vehicle, firmware version or region. Guest access, when offered, may be difficult to recover after losing the device session.
Safe use and delivery status
Set up routes and operate the app only when it is safe and lawful. Review addresses and the destination displayed in the vehicle. Do not rely on SelfRoute as an emergency service or as a substitute for observing traffic rules, road conditions or the vehicle's instructions.
“Tesla accepted” means the relevant command was accepted; it is not proof that the route appeared on the screen or that you arrived. “Delivery unknown” means the outcome is uncertain: check the vehicle before retrying. A completed stop reflects your confirmation. Importing a route from a CRM does not automatically send it to the vehicle.
Subscriptions, trials and cancellation
SelfRoute's annual subscription is offered at US $99 per year in the United States, with a 3-day free trial for eligible subscribers where offered. The localized price, taxes, eligibility and offer shown by Apple at purchase control. Not every account qualifies for an introductory trial.
The subscription renews automatically unless canceled. To avoid a charge after a trial, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. To avoid the next renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Payment and renewal are handled through your Apple Account.
Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or use Apple subscription settings. See Apple's cancellation instructions. Use Restore Purchases in the app when needed. Refund requests for Apple purchases are handled through Apple's refund service, subject to Apple's policies and applicable law.
Deleting SelfRoute or your SelfRoute account does not cancel a subscription. TestFlight access and test purchases may operate differently from the paid release; the app identifies beta access when available. We will not treat a beta invitation as authorization for a paid subscription.
Your routes and CRM integrations
You retain your rights in the routes and content you submit. You give us permission to store, process and transmit that information as necessary to provide the features you request, as described in the Privacy Policy. Submit addresses and other information only when you have the right to use and share them.
The API allows a holder of your key to import routes and read addresses and progress for routes imported using that same key. Keep keys in secure server or CRM secret storage. Do not put them in public websites or URLs. Revoke a key promptly if exposed. Revocation does not erase copies held by your CRM.
API limits and supported operations appear in the API documentation. Do not bypass access controls or quotas, access another person's data, interfere with the service or use it for unlawful surveillance or other unlawful purposes. We may restrict access reasonably necessary to address abuse, security incidents or legal requirements.
Service availability and changes
SelfRoute depends on Apple, Tesla, mapping providers, hosting services and network connectivity. These services can fail or change. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, successful delivery of every command, or accuracy of user-entered addresses and travel estimates. Keep a separate copy of routes important to your work.
We may update features, supported configurations and these terms. We will provide notice of material changes where required and honor applicable subscription and consumer rights. The effective date above identifies this version. If a service change affects you, contact us using the address below.
Ending use and deleting data
You can stop using SelfRoute at any time. Disconnect integrations in settings and revoke Tesla authorization through your Tesla account. Delete your SelfRoute account in the app to remove active cloud account data. The Privacy Policy explains local copies, provider records and deletion limitations. Cancellation of a paid subscription is a separate Apple action.
